Our handmade shea butter is an excellent moisturizer and emollient. Made by the rural women of Talensi in the Upper East Region of Ghana, our raw unrefined shea butter has anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties (boosts collagen production, and prevents UV damage) making it suitable for all skin types, especially Dry, damaged, cracked, chapped, sensitive and baby skin.

Fatty Acid Profile– Palmitic acid 6%, stearic acid 10%, oleic acid 70%, palmitoleic acid 1%, linoleic acid 12%, alpha linolenic acid <1%. Vitamin E
Uses– Shea butter can be used in emulsions or anhydrous formulations.Its high unsaponifiable content gives it its nourishing, regenerating and moisturizing properties. It can be used in baby products, emulsions, body butter, soap making, lip balm products, etc.
